First edit of my video showreel.
My business cards have just been delivered! Foil block printed onto 540gsm duplex card, the pictures don’t do them justice….they are lush!! Simple yet striking, just my style ;) Designed by me, printed by the lovely Phil at http://www.auroraprint.co.uk/
My typeface MASS was recently featured on typographyserved.com which I’m really pleased about! It’s still up on the front page :) go and have a look, there’s loads of other cool typography and fonts on there as well.
My logo for self promotion. Laser cut into loads of different colours of GF Smith colourplan. Playing with angles of the stack of paper creates some cool effects.

It’s a cool little site with lots of interesting, design orientated fonts all available at a decent price.

Recently I have been going over some old work to improve it and include it in my portfolio ready for interviews. This is a revision of an old idea that I had a while back for Gorillaz (if you havn’t seen the original execution then check out my older posts). Its a colour coded version of the lyrics to Rhinestone Eyes. This version is a lot cleaner than the original one I done, I decided to leave out a lot of the elements I had included before and focused on the simple idea of setting the lyrics using a colour coded alphabet. I had this in my portfolio for an interview I had recently and it went down really well so I’m extra pleased with it! I’m going to expand the project into more songs and perhaps look at creating a colour coded album.
Layouts for ALIBI magazine that I’m working on at the moment. I want the mag to be content heavy; big images bled off the page, striking typography etc. I opted for a landscape layout as I like the idea of reading across rather than down the page, but who knows I may change my mind if this doesn’t prove practical. These are by no means finished, just a lil’ taster of something brewing!
Some type work for a magazine I’m working on. It’s gonna be called ALIBI and will be about culture and art from lesser known practioners - I always think stuff living under the radar needs celebrating (if it’s good). The name ALIBI means elsewhere so each issue will focus on a new location, thus generating new content each issue. The type treatment is simple, each character informs the next creating a chain of information along each headline. This chain of information relates back to the title of ALIBI and it’s usual meaning where people inform each other passing information from one person to the next.
